I’m a dressing girl. A saucy queen- I will not eat a dry salad nor a sauceless fry. I have a soft spot for ranch- good, homemade, rich & creamy ranch. Unfortunately, ranch is not the most nutritious of dressings and sometimes I need to branch out a little bit.
This creamy dressing has become my go to- it absolutely hits without any mayo or dairy which is a major win!
It’s also one of my favorite ones to customize to my nutritional needs throughout the month to support my hormones. If you have been seed cycling or would like to begin (eating different seeds at different times of the month for hormone health) then this is a great recipe to utilize for that! Simply adjust the seeds for your Follicular or Luteal phase, the flavor wont be considerably altered.
You can also switch up the herbs used- any soft-stemmed mild herbs will work, whether parsley, coriander, dill, basil. That will change the flavor but they’re all delicious so its so worth trying them all in different combinations!
Additionally, each herb has different health benefits so you could utilize them as follows:
Parsley: Good for bloating, blood pressure, diabetes & eye health.
Cilantro: Good for anxiety, heavy metals detox, blood sugar management & brain health.
Dill: Good for bloating, inflammation, insomnia, immune health.
Basil: Good for inflammation, oxidative stress, fever, stress relief.
