Bone broth is one of those ancient ancestral healing foods that I truuuuly think everyone should know how to make. For one thing, the sustainability of eating nose-to-tail, trying not to waste any part of an animal if it is to be sacrificed for us, is something many of us have lost and this is one way to be more mindful of our resources. But aside from that, there are so many incredible benefits to bone broth- for your gut, joints, skin, organs, mood- even sleep!
I’ve been making beef broth for a while now and this method comes through every time with the most thick, gelatinous broth everrr!

Personally, I have been loving beef broth lately for its nutritive properties, and gut and mood support. But in general I’ve found it easier to get a more quality, collagen rich broth from beef bones. It can also be a little easier to source quality beef bones, as many grocery store butchers or local farm/ranch stores will sell grass fed bones in bulk at pretty decent prices.
